PechaKucha Night with Crosstown Arts: Be the Healthiest City in ONE Generation- April 11th,  6 pm

What: In collaboration with Crosstown Arts, the Interprofessional Student Council is hosting a UTHSC Pecha Kucha Night on Friday, April 11th! We are seeking presentation proposals from any interested UT students, faculty, and staff. This will be a fun and informal evening where we can share our ideas and get to know the Crosstown community! Artwork from resident artists at St. Jude will also be on display this evening.

Where: Crosstown Arts, 430 N Cleveland Ave

Perks: Free food and wine!

Interested in Presenting?: We are seeking proposals for presentations that relate to the theme of healthy cities. What can we do to make Memphis a healthier city in ONE generation? Presentation topics are not limited to strict “health” or “medical” topics, but can involve a diverse array of disciplines (ie, access to care, public health, urbanism, the arts, wellness, non-profit work, etc.) and how they connect with or can help create a holistically healthy city…sooner rather than later. Presenters will follow the PechaKucha format (20 slides x 20 seconds each). Please send your contact information with presentation topic (150 words or less) to tbell20@uthsc.edu and info@crosstownarts.org by March 15. You will be contacted with a response byMarch 20. Presenters should send final presentations (a powerpoint presentation with 20 slides) via email or dropbox to info@crosstownarts.org by Monday, April 7 at noon.
