Join us on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 from 10:30-11:30am (central time) in GEB A204 for a debrief of the first season of Post-Tenure Review (PTR) and information about the upcoming second season of PTR.

The session will be broadcast and recorded via MediaSite as well as a Zoom connection for those who’d like to connect by phone – information on both beneath our signature lines.
We will also be providing a brief review at the Faculty Senate’s meeting on Tuesday, March 10 – stay tuned to the Faculty Senate emails for more information on that.
We have held sessions with faculty members who went through PTR (n=3 groups), department chairs/division chiefs of faculty who went through PTR (n=2 groups), and PTR committee members/chairs (n=4 groups). From our 9 groups, we had excellent input about the PTR process that we will share with you and use to make important changes in some of our processes. We are collecting additional data so that the Chancellor and UT System will have a complete report.
As a reminder, our PTR site is located here https://uthsc.edu/afsa/faculty-affairs/faculty-resources.php. It contains the 2019 data which will be replaced by the 2020 information once we have that. We are currently working with the colleges to determine eligibility for selection for PTR.
We hope to see you at this session if you are a tenured faculty member, the supervisor of a tenured faculty member, or if you have an interest in the PTR process.
