LOOKING FOR HEALTHY FEMALE VOLUNTEERS

The Department of Clinical Pharmacy seeks female volunteers, 18 years of age or older, to participate in a psychometric study of questionnaires that are currently being used in a research study focused on chronic vaginal pain. You will receive $25 for completing the research study.

Town Hall to be Rescheduled for Faculty and Staff Engagement Survey

The Town Hall originally scheduled for Thursday, March 26, to present the Faculty and Staff Engagement Survey is being rescheduled for April. This rescheduling will allow both the “Modern Think” and “Workplace Dynamics ” Surveys to be presented simultaneously. We will announce the new Town Hall date once it is confirmed.

UTHSC IRB policy entitled “Exemption for Research Use of Selected De-identified Specimen and Data Repositories”

Numerous research repositories exist that contain only specimens or data that derive from deceased individuals, or that have been fully de-identified, or that are coded with linkage to identifiable individuals that is unavailable to investigators. Because research use of a repository having one of these properties does not involve the use of “human subjects” as defined in the federal regulations.
