The Online Learning Consortium (OLC) will host a webinar on November 6th focusing on Rasmussen College’s blended learning model called Online+ which uses a standards-based approach to hybrid learning.
According to Heather Zink, hybrid classroom manager at Rasmussen College, research tells us that hybrid courses appeal to learners who want to capitalize on the benefits of real-time instruction, whether residential or virtual, but also need to process the information on their own through online instructional elements and assessments. In order to better met the needs of their diverse student population, Rasmussen College developed Online+, an innovative framework that provides a clear standards-based approach to hybrid learning.
Rasmussen College was recognized by OLC for its effective practices in blended learning and awarded the OLC Blended Learning Effective Practice Award for their work in developing this innovative framework and blended learning model.
