As part of our technology modernization efforts across campus, the ITS team has begun the phase 1 deployment to VOIP. This first phase moves our voicemail ecosystem to a new, modern, and upgraded infrastructure, allowing all users to have the option for voicemail-to-email features. This first step also sets the stage for phase 2 and 3 of our VOIP deployment over the next three years.
Over the past several months, ITS has completed significant testing and validation of the new system, allowing the campus to migrate to the new voicemail system on Friday, July 10, at 5:30 pm CDT. Additional information will be sent via the Daily Digest.
After the switchover, you will be required to go through a brief voice-guided setup the first time you check your voicemail. Please visit UTHSC’s voicemail instructions website for the default password and detailed instructions for the first-time login as well as how to check your voicemail from UTHSC and non-UTHSC phones.
