New Type 2 (Adult) Diabetes Study

Now screening people for the G.R.A.D.E. Study—Glycemia Reduction Approaches in Diabetes: A Comparative Effectiveness Study!
Study will compare four approved diabetes drugs for the treatment of type 2 diabetes for those who are already taking metformin.
All medications are FDA-approved and currently used by physicians.
You receive the following at no charge: diabetes medication; diabetes education; lab work and evaluation; glucose strips and meters depending on the drug you are taking; $100 per year to participate; free parking.
All visits are at the Clinical Research Center at UT Methodist Central Hospital 8th floor East Wing

Entry Criteria:
*Male or Female
*Must be 30 years of age or older with adult onset diabetes for less than five years.
*American Indian participants can be 20 years or older.
*Currently only taking metformin for diabetes control
*Follow-up is 4-7 years depending when you enroll
