You are invited to attend a non-partisan Gubernatorial Forum sponsored by the Faculty Senate at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center today, July 12, 5:30 – 8:30 pm in the GEB, room A104. A live stream will also be available for those who can’t attend.
Joe Birch from WMC will moderate the forum. Refreshments will be served.
As citizens and professionals, you know the challenges and opportunities facing the people of Tennessee. This forum is focused on education and health care – two of the biggest items in the state budget. They impact economic and community development, workforce preparation, rural development, increased opportunity, and quality of life.
This is a great and final opportunity to learn more about the candidates’ positions on these vital issues, as early voting begins this Friday, July 13.
Every candidate in the Governor’s race has been invited to participate, and we are delighted that several candidates are attending:
5:30 pm: The Honorable Karl Dean (retired)
5:55 pm: The Honorable Craig Fitzhugh
6:20 pm: Mr. Chad Riden
6:45 pm: Ms. Kay White
We look forward to seeing you. Thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
Dr. Martin Donaldson, Past President
Faculty Senate
