UTHSC will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month September 15, 2014- October 15, 2014! Our first event will be the viewing Latino Americans, September 18, 2014, 9:30-11:30 a.m., Madison Plaza Conference Room C-1. The series chronicles Latinos in the United States from the 1500’s to present day. The film highlights the story of people, politics and culture, intersecting with the history of the United States. “Latino Americans” explores human dramas of individuals’ struggles and triumphs. Also detailing personal portraits of Latinos who lived through key chapters in American history. Please join us!
