I am pleased to extend an invitation to the UTHSC HEI Vision Research Trainee Seminar Series. This will occur once every month (the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 3:00 PM). The purpose of this series will be to provide trainees (junior faculty, post-docs, graduate students, and post-bac students) with the ability to present a full 45 minute to hour talk on their work. These trainees, while having the ability to present short 15-to-20-minute talks at conferences, rarely get to prepare and deliver full hour seminars which are different and can be more challenging.
