The Community Engaged Care program is hosting a webinar on Policing and Incarceration and their effects on Black communities this Monday, July 27, 7:00 pm.
This webinar is part of our series Conversations on Health Disparities and will be moderated by Dr. Aixa Marchand (Rhodes College). She will be joined by Dr. Stephanie Cage (Rhodes College) and Dr. Duane T. Loynes Sr. (Rhodes College). Our speakers will present a history of policing and incarceration in Memphis and the Mid-South and how these forces have impacted Black communities and influenced their health outcomes.
