Graduate training opportunities at UTHSC

Are you looking for ways to improve your clinical investigation skills? The Department of Preventive Medicine is offering two training opportunities through the College of Graduate Health Sciences.

  1. Graduate Certificate in Clinical Investigation. A 12-credit hour, online certificate program that will provide initial clinical investigation skills and training. Application deadline: May 15
  2. Master of Science in Epidemiology Program. A 36-credit hour, hybrid program with the required core courses offered online. Students receive training in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Clinical Trial Methods, among other courses. The program currently has three tracks: Clinical Investigation, Biostatistics, and Data Science. Application deadline: April 15

The Institute for Health Outcomes and Policy offers a Certificate in Healthcare Quality Improvement through the College of Graduate Health Sciences. This 12-credit certificate program prepares professionals in healthcare to implement quality improvement initiatives and to manage populations of patients to optimize efficiency and effectiveness of care and services. Application deadline: May 15
