GAAD 2020: What do Apple, Facebook, and Microsoft have in common?

Answer: Apart from their shared status as Fortune 500 companies, each of these companies celebrate Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD)

While GAAD now enjoys this type of high-profile recognition, the commemorative date is the product of far more humble beginnings.  The idea for GAAD started with a single blog post written by a web developer in 2011.  Since its launch the following year, in May 2012, GAAD has grown to become a globally recognized event.   

To commemorate GAAD 2020, the Office of Equity and Diversity and the Teaching and Learning Center have compiled a list of virtual events and activities.  Join us in celebrating GAAD on Thursday, May 21, 2020, by participating in one of the following events:
