Dear CGHS Students,
Please join GSEC next Thursday, October 22, at noon on Zoom to gain valuable insight into the NIH review process for graduate student training grants. Come prepared with questions about anything and everything related to writing and submitting an NRSA F31 award.
This panel will feature 3 UTHSC faculty members with years of experience sponsoring and reviewing NIH training grants:
1) Dr. Detlef Heck and Dr. Max Fletcher, both of the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology.
2) Dr. Wei Li of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
This event will cover everything from developing strong aims and a research strategy to writing a training plan that will make you stand out and help get your proposal funded.
