Dear Students,
The new version of the Apple MacBook Pro released on July 12, 2018 is currently NOT COMPATIBLE with Examplify.
Students using this new MacBook Pro will receive an error when opening Examplify stating that they are using a virtual machine (even though they are not). Please note this only affects the new 2018 MacBook Pro and is not related to the Mac OS X 10.13.6. Users on other devices using 10.13.6 can use Examplify as expected.
To assist you in identifying these devices, the model number for each variation of the new 2018 MacBook Pro begins with the characters ‘MR9’.
ExamSoft has updated the Minimum System Requirements to reflect this incompatibility and is actively working to resolve the issues identified with the new MacBook Pro. We will provide a communication once compatibility is announce by ExamSoft.
