I would like to update you on some organizational changes within dining services here at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Effective immediately, Jim Stiles, our catering manager, will be moving on to do other things with Sodexo. I wish Jim well with his new endeavors and know he will do great things within our organization.
Additionally Chef Penny McCraw will be leaving the UTHSC campus to do other things within our organization. She will be here through Friday, August 15. I also wish her well and know she will go on to have a successful culinary career with Sodexo.
To lead our team of culinarians, we have brought in Chef Avalon Napier. Chef Al, as he likes to be called, is a seasoned campus executive chef. He has worked at NC State and has most recently transferred to our campus from GlaxoSmithKline’s corporate office in Raleigh, NC. You will be seeing more of Chef Al and encourage you to welcome him to campus.
Moving forward nothing will change, orders can still be placed though Catertrax (https://flavoursuthsc.catertrax.com/) or by calling Tanya Morgan at 448-5626. Our delivery team will still deliver your events as they have been.
