CEC Conversation on Health Disparities: ACEs Wed 12/2 6 pm

Join the Community Engaged Care program Wednesday, December 2, 6:00 pm for a conversation via Zoom with Sandra Madubuonwu about Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and trauma-informed care. Madubuonwu is Senior Director of Social Determinants of Health and Wellness for the Methodist LeBonheur Healthcare system. For 11 years, Madubuonwu has focused on reducing disparities for parents and children as head of the Maternal and Child Health program at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital. She is a registered nurse and holds a Master of Science in nursing. A former Clinical Instructor with the UTHSC College of Nursing, she is currently finishing her PhD in Nursing.
