Special Events and Community Affairs in partnership with the Office of Equity and Diversity present Mildred Muhammad, ex-wife of the DC sniper and domestic abuse survivor. Ms. Muhammad is a speaker and author. As the founder of After The Trauma, Inc., she strives to enlighten others to the fact that you don’t have to have physical scars to be a victim of domestic violence. Her memoir, “Scared Silent: When the One You Love Becomes the One you Fear,” was published by Simon & Schuster in 2009.
Muhammad will visit campus on October 26 for a special luncheon and book signing. The first 10 participants to register will receive a free autographed book. Lunch will be provided.
