In order to support the university’s efforts at social distancing, all BERD Clinic meetings are being held virtually (Zoom).
The Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Research Design (BERD) Unit of the TN-CTSI offers assistance to investigators “Virtual BERD” meetings, via Zoom, with up to 15 slots available/week. Clinic sessions are open to all regular UTHSC faculty & residents with one-day advance registration. At the BERD Clinic attendees receive free advice on statistical analysis & design, biomedical informatics, and publication and journal submissions. Clinics are staffed by biostatisticians and epidemiologists from the Department of Preventive Medicine, data architects from the Center for Biomedical Informatics, and bioinformaticians from the Molecular Bioinformatics Center (mBio).
