UTHSC is hosting a Back-2-School Health Fair on Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 8am to 12pm at the UTHSC Student Alumni Center (SAC). Shelby County school youth are in need of school supplies and desire your support. This event is free and open to the community. This event is presented by UTHSC, Omega Ministries/Omega Healthy Practices and The Healthcare Organizations of Greater Memphis Coalition. We ask that you donate supplies and drop them off in one of the respective areas listed below. If you would like to make a monetary donation, please make your check payable to UTHSC/Community Affairs and we will purchase supplies for you. Please bring your check to Special Events located in the Hyman Building, Suite 200. Participants can take advantage of free health screenings (dental, vision, and blood pressure), free immunizations, pre-school physical exams, free lunch for all participating students (18 years old and younger), and much more. The first 500 participants with a parent or guardian will receive a free backpack with school supplies! Free parking will be available. The deadline date to drop off school supplies is Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 5pm to Joshua Bowles, at the SAC Information Desk.
