Join UTHSC and Volunteer Memphis on Monday, September 12, to honor local first responders for the National 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance.
Did you know there are only 2 federally designated days of service? Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and 9/11. In 2009 Congress designated September 11th as a National Day of Service and Remembrance. Don’t miss this opportunity! Join us in in honoring our Mid-South First Responders by delivering meals from community partners to the City of Memphis Fire Department, Bartlett Fire Department, Collierville Fire Department, and Germantown Fire Department. We will meet at the SAC at 9:30 and vanpool to the volunteer rally and donation site, and should be back on campus by 1:30 PM.
