1. FREE Telemedicine Webinar Tomorrow
UTHSC’s Department of Diagnostic and Health Sciences will host a panel of experts tomorrow, Tuesday, April 14, for a webinar on Telemedicine in the Time of COVID-19 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. It is open to the UTHSC community, health care providers, and the public. Click here for more information and the link to join the webinar.
2. Virtual Zoom Backgrounds Available
Download one of our new UTHSC-themed virtual Zoom backgrounds. To enable a virtual background during a meeting, simply click the ^ arrow next to “Start/Stop Video” at the bottom left corner of your Zoom screen, and select “Choose a virtual background…” If prompted, click “Download” to download the package for virtual background without a green screen. More information on enabling virtual backgrounds on Zoom can be found here.
3. Show Your Support with a Facebook Frame
UTHSC officially has it’s first Facebook frame! Show your support with a #thankshealthheroes message to your family and friends. The frame is pinned to the top of the UTHSC Facebook page for easy access, or you can search “UTHSC” on this page.
4. Download UTHSC’s SmartFHR App
UTHSC offers employees a comprehensive HR, health, and wellness app that is available for download to your mobile device in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, and it is also accessible through your web browser. This app allows employees and their families to access their UTHSC benefits in one place, as well as manage their health and wellness! Learn more about the app at uthsc.edu/hr/app.
5. Order Your New UTHSC License Plate Now
UTHSC is working to get our FIRST license plate in Tennessee! However, we must generate 1,000 orders to move forward with production, and we currently have 543 orders.
