1. Fall 2021 Return to Campus Plan
UTHSC is planning to move to a format that includes on-campus preclinical courses for our students this fall. Read the full announcement from the Chancellor on the Messages from the Chancellor website.
2. COVID-19 Testing Site Moving to SAC Dining Hall
The COVID-19 testing site on the Memphis campus in the Student-Alumni Center (SAC) gymnasium has temporarily moved to the SAC Dining Hall (800 Madison Avenue) for the next 4 to 6 weeks, while an air handler is installed in the gymnasium. Patients should continue to enter via the breezeway on the backside of the building, and not through the front door of the SAC.
The SAC testing site is open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 12:00 – 4:00 pm and Saturdays 1:00 – 3:00 pm with no appointment necessary for faculty, staff, and students. Spouses, family members, and friends of UTHSC faculty, staff, and students cannot be tested at the SAC location and should go to a community testing site operated by University Clinical Health. The SAC testing site is closed on holidays.
The SAC testing site is for those who are asymptomatic (no symptoms) and have had no known exposure to COVID-19.
Those with symptoms or who may have been exposed to COVID-19 will be referred to a University Clinical Health mobile testing site by texting “COVID” to 901.203.5526. Test results will take about 48 hours to be returned to the patient.

5. Submit a Sweet Shoutout!
With Valentine’s Day coming up soon, let’s share some of the positivity that is continuously happening on our (physical and virtual) campus!
The Women’s Resource Group is providing an online platform for all of UTHSC’s faculty, staff, and students to virtually send a “Sweet Shoutout” to someone on campus who has helped or inspired them in a positive way.
To send a “Sweet Shoutout,” simply visit the Sweet Shoutouts website on the Women’s Resource Group website (or click the button below), fill out the form, and your message will appear on the Sweet Shoutouts submissions website.
Thank you for spreading some love on our campus!
