The Institute for Health Outcomes and Policy (IHOP) was formed in May 2014 to support and coordinate health outcomes and policy research education and training on the UTHSC campus. The Institute will be governed by an Executive Council (EC) which will include 5 representatives of the UTHSC colleges and up to 4 outside community/industry members. During the past month, faculty in each college elected their EC representatives:
College of Allied Health Sciences: Dr. Rebecca Reynolds
College of Dentistry: Dr. David Tipton
College of Medicine: Dr. James Bailey
College of Nursing: Dr. Mona Wicks
College of Pharmacy: Dr. Junling Wang
We want to thank these faculty for their interest, commitment and willingness to serve on the Council! We look forward to an exciting year of strengthening transdisciplinary health outcomes research education on this campus and ensuring that faculty from across the campus are highly engaged in growing our educational programs.
