The American Heart Association And Red Dress Dash is a healthy, fun, family event that promotes exercise as part of a heart- healthy lifestyle, and raises funds for research and programs to fight heart disease. Heart disease is our nation’s #1 killer, claiming nearly a million American lives a year.
Thus year’s Heart Walk will be the biggest ever. While you celebrate with us, you’ll also join million walkers from across the nation as we all move as one.
Most of us know someone suffering from heart disease, stroke or some other cardiovascular disease. To help these people – and to help protect our love ones- we all need to get involved. UTHSC has committed to assist in raising funds and we need your help! Funds raised through the Heart Walk this year support COVID research and train front- line workers, professional education programs and community service and public.
