2021 AHA Heart Walk Building Culture of Health

The American Heart Association Mid-South Heart Walk and Red Dress Dash is a healthy, fun, family event that promotes exercise as part of a heart- healthy lifestyle, and raises funds for research and programs to fight heart disease. Heart disease is our nation’s#1 killer claiming nearly a million American lives a year.

This year’s Heart Walk will be the biggest ever. While you celebrate with us, you’ll also join millions of walkers from across the nation as we all move as one.

Most of us know someone suffering from heart disease, stroke or some other cardiovascular disease. To help these people- and to help protect our love ones-we all need to get involved. UTHSC has committed to assist in raising funds and we need your help! Funds raised through the Heart Walk this year will support COVID research, training frontline workers, professional education programs , community and public services. It will also continue the good fight against Heart Disease and Stroke.
