Information security is a vital area within technology services. We take various steps to protect both you and the university. One of these steps is to provide security awareness training to all students, faculty, and staff.
The 2015 UTHSC Information Security Training is currently available. You must successfully complete your training by February 15, 2015. Training is located in Blackboard under 2015 UTHSC Information Security Training course. Taking this training will fulfill your annual Information Security Training requirements. Training is being implemented in accordance with University of Tennessee System Administration (UTSA) Policy IT0123. You can access Blackboard at https://blackboard.uthsc.edu/ using your NetID and password.
Completion of all modules should take about one hour. If you do not have time to finish the training in one sitting, you can log out and then log back in at a later time.
Starting January 9, 2015, a random name will be drawn each week to win a $25 gift card. To be eligible, you must be a UTHSC student, staff, or faculty member who has successfully completed their 2015 Information Security Training. Those who complete training the earliest will have more opportunities to win. Last winner will be chosen on February 22, 2015.
