UTHSC Administrators Confer Degrees on 672 New Health Care Professionals

The commencement ceremony for the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) on Friday, May 30, sent 672 new health care professionals out into the world.

The 2014 graduating class included 411 women and 261 men, representing all six of UT Health Science Center’s colleges.

UTHSC Chancellor Steve J. Schwab, MD, presided over the ceremony at FedExForum. UT System President Joe DiPietro conferred the degrees and spoke to graduates.  The deans of the various colleges presented their candidates for graduation.
